BIOGRAPHY

Giulietta Cavallotti was born in Rome. She graduated in literature.

In 2001 she approaches to oil painting as an autodidact. In 2002 she learns various techniques of painting like drawing blood with charcoal, watercolors, pastels watercolors, acrylics, until she returns to deepening the technique of oil painting. Giulietta experiences also with big success the techniques of matter with the use of putty and sand. In 2005 she attends the University of Fine Art under the guide of Tullio de Franco were she studies the nude drawing and other mixed techniques.

In 2006 she partecipates to the charity exhibition ‘Art for Africa’ organized by AMREF under the patronage of Cultural Heritage of Rome.

In the same year she participates to the exhibition “Babele” organized by the Academy of Rufa of Rome.

In 2007 she makes her first personal exhibition at the gallery of Amedeo del Vecchio, in the famous street of antiques of Rome in via dei Coronari 211.

In the same year she participated at the exhibition “Art for Life” in the convent of San Francesco a Ripa and “Cento opere per il diritto dell’alimentazione”, world food day.

In 2008 she is part of the exhibition “I maestri e gli Allievi” at the monumental complex San Michele a Ripa organized by academy of RUFA and also to “Lo specchio leggero” with a personal exhibition. In the same year Giulietta wins the Price Astarte, organized in Castello di Santa Severa (Roma).

In 2009 she participates to the personal exhibition “Treni e stazioni” in the gallery Amedeo del Vecchio in via dei Coronari, and in the month of June she is part of ‘’mostra mercato’’ in the Hotel Adriano. In the summer she is at the Castle of Santa Severa with “Three artists in comparison’’.

In 2010 she is guest of “La Torretta Di Ponte Milvio” with the exhibition “The Trip”

In 2011 she makes “An Evening of Reflections“ at Galleria Del Vecchio and ”Round Trip” at ‘The laboratory ‘in Vicolo del Moro ,

She has participated in several awards and she won the competition of Santa Severa “Astarte”.

She was also selected as a winner at the competition of the Contemporary National of Art “SaturARTE2011”in Genoa.

In 2013 she was also selected as a finalist at the Award of Contemporary Art of Massenzio XVII.
